Terms of Service

Last updated: August 24, 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Find Yourself!, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Find Yourself!. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to provide accurate information in your profile and to not impersonate others. One account per person — multiple accounts are not permitted.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

5. Content

You retain ownership of the content you post (photos, profile text, messages). By posting content, you grant us a limited license to display it within the app to other users, as needed to operate the service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

6. The One-Message Rule

You may send one introductory message to any user. The recipient may choose to reply (opening the conversation) or ignore the message. You may not send additional messages until the recipient engages. This feature is central to the respectful design of our platform.

7. Friends & Find (Location Sharing)

You may add other users as friends, from any profile or conversation. Every friendship requires the other person's explicit acceptance; declining a request is invisible to the requester. To prevent abuse, friend requests are limited (daily caps, one open request per pair, cooldowns after a decline, and a maximum of 1000 friends). Accepting a friendship opens the conversation between you fully.

A friend may ask to see your exact position ("Find"). This works only with your explicit consent, given through a confirmation flow in the app, and only for the duration you choose (1 hour to 14 days). You can end any sharing at any time. Sharing also ends automatically when the permission expires, when either side removes the friendship or blocks the other, and when you and your friend are more than 500 km apart. Your live position is transmitted but never stored on our servers; details are in our Privacy Policy.

Only allow finding for people you genuinely know and trust. Misusing the Find function — including stalking, monitoring, harassment, or pressuring someone into sharing — is a serious violation of these terms and leads to a permanent ban. If anyone pressures you to share your location, please report them.

8. Safety, Moderation & Reporting

If you encounter inappropriate behavior, please use the report function in the app. Uploaded photos are automatically screened by our systems, and flagged content is reviewed by a human. When a conversation is reported, we may review the messages between the reporter and the reported user in order to assess the report. We may take action including content removal, warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent bans.

If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you can contact us at [email protected] and we will review it.

We encourage users to meet in public places and to trust their instincts regarding personal safety.

9. Automatic Housekeeping of Conversations

To keep the platform lean and protect everyone's data, conversations are deleted automatically and permanently for both participants when they go stale: after 12 months without any activity, or after 6 months in the case of a first message that never received a reply. If you want to keep something, save it outside the app.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app (Profile → Delete Account). Deletion takes effect immediately: your profile, photos, and all your conversations (for both participants) are permanently removed. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

11. Intellectual Property

The Find Yourself! app, brand, design, and underlying technology are owned by IbiPoint Ltd. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app.

12. Disclaimer

Find Yourself! is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee any specific outcomes from using the app. We are not responsible for the behavior of other users. Use the app at your own risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IbiPoint Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the service (which is zero, since the app is free).

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

15. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
