Account Issues

I can't log in

If you signed up with email, make sure you're using the correct email address and password. If you signed up with Google or Apple, use the same sign-in method. If you've forgotten your password, contact us and we'll help you reset it.

I want to delete my account

Open the app → go to the Profile tab → scroll down → tap "Delete Account." This permanently removes all your data including photos, messages, and conversations. This action cannot be undone.

Safety

How do I report someone?

If someone is behaving inappropriately, you can report them through the app. We review all reports and take action accordingly, including warnings, suspensions, and permanent bans.

How do I block someone?

You can block a user through the app. Blocked users can no longer see your profile or contact you. They will not be notified that they've been blocked. Blocking also ends any friendship and any location sharing between you, instantly.

Safety tips for meeting in person

When meeting someone from the app in person, we recommend:

Meet in a public place like a café, restaurant, or popular tourist spot. Tell a friend or family member where you're going and who you're meeting. Trust your instincts — if something feels off, it's okay to leave. Keep your phone charged and accessible. Don't share your accommodation address until you feel comfortable.

Features

How does the one-message rule work?

You can send one introductory message to any user. If they reply, the conversation opens for unlimited messaging. This ensures every conversation starts with genuine interest.

How do friends work?

Tap "Be my friend" on any profile or in any chat. The other person decides whether to accept — and if they accept, your chat opens fully for unlimited messages. Friends get a teal ring on the map, and profiles show how many friends someone has (and how many you have in common). You can remove a friend at any time from the Friends list (us! tab → Friends).

How does Find a Friend work?

A friend can ask to see your exact position. You'll get a notification and decide in three steps: what it means, whether you know this person in real life, and for how long (1 hour up to 14 days). Only if you allow it can that one friend find you — live on a map, with a compass arrow pointing the way. You get a notification every time they locate you, and you can stop the sharing at any time. It also ends automatically when the time runs out or when you're more than 500 km apart. Your position on the normal map stays blurred for everyone, always.

How do I stop sharing my location?

Go to the us! tab → Friends. Next to the friend, tap Stop — or use "Stop all location sharing" at the bottom to end everything at once. It takes effect immediately, and the friend just sees that sharing ended.

What is Arriving Soon?

In your profile settings, you can set a future travel destination. Other users at that location can see you're on your way, making it easy to plan connections before you arrive.

Why can't I see anyone nearby?

Make sure location services are enabled for the app (Settings → Find Yourself → Location → While Using). The app needs your GPS location to find nearby travelers. If you're in a remote area, there may simply be fewer users nearby — check back later as new travelers arrive.
