Our Commitment to Safety
Find Yourself! is committed to providing a safe environment for all users. We have zero tolerance for any form of abuse, exploitation, or harmful behavior on our platform.
Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) Policy
Find Yourself! maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This includes but is not limited to:
- Any content that sexually exploits or endangers children
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind
- Grooming behavior or solicitation of minors
- Any content that sexualizes minors
- Sextortion or coercion involving minors
- Trafficking of minors
Age Requirement
Find Yourself! is strictly for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly allow minors to create accounts. If we discover that a user is under 18, their account will be immediately terminated and all associated data permanently deleted.
Location Sharing Safety (Friends & Find)
On the normal map your position is always blurred — no user can see where you exactly are. Since version 3.0 you can additionally allow one chosen friend to see your exact position for a limited time. This feature is built safety-first:
- Nothing without consent: a friend must ask, and you confirm in three deliberate steps — including whether you know this person in real life — and choose the duration yourself (1 hour to 14 days)
- Declining is invisible: if you say no, the other person is not told
- Full visibility: a permanent indicator shows while anyone can find you, and you get a notification every time your friend actually locates you
- One-tap stop: end any sharing at any time; removing a friend or blocking ends it instantly
- Automatic end: sharing always expires on its own, and it also ends automatically when you and your friend are more than 500 km apart
- No history: your live position is never stored on our servers — there is no movement history
Only share your exact position with people you genuinely know and trust. Nobody legitimate will ever pressure you to share your location. If anyone does, decline and report them — pressuring someone to share their location is treated as harassment and leads to a ban.
Detection and Prevention
We employ the following measures to prevent CSAE on our platform:
- Age verification during account registration
- User reporting mechanisms accessible from every profile and conversation
- Review of all user reports within 24 hours
- Immediate removal of any content that violates this policy
- Permanent ban of accounts found to violate this policy
- Cooperation with law enforcement agencies when illegal activity is identified
Reporting
If you encounter any content or behavior that may constitute child exploitation or abuse:
- In the app: Use the report function available on every user profile
- By email: Contact us immediately at [email protected] with subject line "CSAE Report"
- Law enforcement: If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement or emergency services first
- NCMEC: Reports can also be made to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at missingkids.org or 1-800-843-5678
Enforcement
Violations of this policy result in:
- Immediate account termination without warning
- Permanent ban from all Find Yourself! services
- Preservation of evidence and reporting to relevant law enforcement authorities
- Reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by law

All reported content is reviewed by our team. We maintain logs of all reports and actions taken. We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations and legal processes related to child safety.
